Yesterday spent the afternoon at Canary Wharf. Firstly we visited the HSBC HQ where i worked until retiring in 2005. The 36 strong CSC team from Park Street were the first group to move there in September 2002.
The building was full by 2002.
Afterwards we met Dave and Sian Watling, Jean, Johnny and Ellie Virk and her partner Tom for lunch at Browns.
5 of us had worked at Midland at some time or other through the 60s to 2025 in Johnnys case.
Of course we toasted our dear departed friend Naeem.
A great afternoon.
