Today I met up with a friend of mine I first met 51 years ago. John Moffatt and I caught up with each other in person rather than by phone and email. I met him at Waterloo and we walked to where we both worked when NUBE Seconded Reps in 1978 at 45 Blackfriars Road (although the entrance was in Meymot Street) Now a multi-storey hotel.

We then had a coffee at another hotel that didn’t exist back in ‘78. Then lunch at Doggetts Coat & Badge public house which did exist and where we had an occasional pint or two.

Great to catch up and reminisce.
