27 JANUARY 2022 RETIREMENT AFTER 49 YEARS SERVICE Well today is the first day of my retirement from HSBC after over 49 years. Couldn't bring myself to hang on until the magic 50!! I've had an amazing time, met fabulous people from starting at Saltburn-by-the- sea branch in Sept 72, then Redcar in 74 until it sadly closed 5 years ago. I then moved to Guisborough service branch with abit of time spent at Middlesbrough. Had various contracts and jobs and made lots of memories. The staff gave me a brilliant sent off yesterday with a surprise party!! One which I will never forget.
