Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but a friend has advised me that Richard Bevan passed away on Saturday 4th June.
I first met Richard about 1973 when he worked at Risca branch.
I am advised that his funeral will be on the 27th June, but currently have no further details.
RIP Richard.
At this sad time most sincere condolences to his wife June, and his family.

Sadly, one of our members, Richard Bevan, passed away on Friday 3 June. He worked in various branches over the years such as Leominster, Ludlow, Bridge Street Newport, Ebbw Vale, Usk and Risca.
His wife June and daughters Helen and Joan have let us know that the funeral is at Gwent Crematorium Cwmbran on Monday 27 June at 2.30pm and afterwards at The Ponthir House Inn.
