Roy and I have been to the funeral today of John Hill, who retired from Knowles branch in 1995. We used to go out with John & Anne, for a meal and walk and a general chat and laugh about our working lives. He will be sadly missed by many of his banking friends.
Anne passed around some photos including one of me, I have no idea where is was, (might be Bennetts Hill branch) or what the event was, or indeed who the three men are. Suggestions from other colleagues at the wake were John Stickey on the left.
It was before 1995 because that's when I left.
