Of interest to those in the West Country.

The Regional Head Office in its day! Now apartments but it looks like the writer of this postcard (c.1908) was part of the family that owned it at that time.

Looks like some form of fire escape up onto the flat roof.

I was not that frequent a visitor to the building so I can’t remember it was a fire escape or even still there then. Doesn’t appear to be there now.
