MESSAGE FROM PHIL IN RESPONSE TO LILIAN JONES
Today Stroud branch shut so after nearly 45 years I'm the bank I have retired. Started in Stroud 21 August 1978 and apart from a wonderful 10 years in Nailsworth and time at Cirencester and Tetbury it seemed the right time to leave from the same branch I started in.
Made so many life long friends. We had a get together last week to celebrate our time at Stroud.
A great turnout of 60 people with 9 who were already at Stroud when I started there. Farewell Stroud. You were a great place to work.
Many laughs and good times with the best friends you could ask for.
