Unusual find today whilst sorting out some old magazines, Lace magazine 1983 (bobbin lace)

This lace was shown at Midland Bank, High Street, Bedford and was designed and made by M Rutgers.

As it took her over 180 hours to make the lace excluding time spent on design and patterning, I will not be attempting to recreate it.

( I started with midland bank in 1978, left HSBC last year)
