Yesterday attended the Oval for the final ODI with my ex colleagues and long term friend Andy Quayle. He joined the bank in 1987 on the graduate recruitment programme and I first met him in 1989 when he was part of David Mills support team in Uk Operations in Watling Court. He joined the PAPS team in early 1990 and was with us until 1992 when the project was delivered.
He then worked at Balham branch before becoming the Manager of Mount Pleasant Tunbridge Wells. Later in 1995 he became manager of Birmingham cash centre before leaving the bank in 1996.
He later worked for Accenture and Anderson Consultants before joining EY in 1999 where he is a senior partner today.
He used to undertake the London to Brighton Bike ride with the Hot Shots Bikers Club, a great bank team who raised £1000s of pounds for the BHF.
We continued to cycle together after we both left the bank. Great memories. His wife, Penny, also worked in the bank in the 1990s.
