Yesterday I attended the HSBC AGM with my good friend and long term colleague Helen Roberts. Helen and I have known each other for over 25 years. She originally was the HR support for the PAPs team in the early 1990s and later in 1996 I recruited her from Salford DSC to manage Leed CSC. She was a great manager. Later she became part of the central management team which looked after 3700 staff in 9 call centre locations. After I retired in 2005 she continued to work tirelessly for the bank in Sheffield retiring in recent years. Great Memories.

I have attended the AGM every year since 1993 and with Helen in recent years. It was good to see the clawback team, who I support, getting a slightly warmer reception from the board. Let's hope they change their stance at last.
