At the end of 1979 Training Department decided to accelerate the roll out of The Lending and Group Services course to all branch managers instead of just running it at Oxted college.

I was then Assistant Manager at Eastbourne and was asked to act as a tutor on the course at Brighton as I had attended the first such course at Oxted.
