Jane Jordan R.I.P - 2024

It is with regret that I have to announce the sad passing of my Mother, Jane Jordan.

Mum joined Midland Bank in the early 70s, working at Ilford High Road branch as the Manager's secretary. I was invited along there in 75 to do a day's job experience.

Mum then moved onto Maldon branch where she was for a few years, before moving onto Relief staff in the East London region. Mum retired from the Bank in 1987 to spend time with my father, Bernard, who unfortunately died in December 1987. They are finally reunited.
