Athene Needham RIP
It is with great sadness we announce the sudden passing of Athene Needham on 7th May 2024.
Since her retirement in Dec 1994 Athene has been an active member of Herts and Beds Horizons group.
She was a lovely and happy lady with the ability to make others smile.
Since Covid Athene made it to less coffee mornings she did however meet up with Horizoners local to her home in North London. Athene passed away peacefully at home.
Many of you will remember her working at the North London Regional Office. As I was reminded it was Athene branches contact when needing support from relief staff. She was always the first point of contact for anything HR related.
We are in contact with and supporting her family through this difficult time.
We will share funeral arrangements when they are available.
