RETIREMENT
Today marks my last day of employment with HSBC and I’m looking back and wondering where the last 38 years have gone! I’m hoping that my retirement days will be full of plenty of experiences like this with the things that matter most in life.
The industry has looked after me from the first day that I started my working life by walking into Midland Bank in Rugby in 1984 right through to the last, where I leave a great group of Corporate bankers in the HSBC South Midlands team.
Along the way I have met and worked with some amazing and truly wonderful people, who have made a permanent mark in my life. Many thanks to all my colleagues , customers and professional contacts who have contributed to a happy and rewarding career.
HSBC and Clydesdale/Yorkshire Bank have both provided me with so many wonderful opportunities and memories that I will cherish, so 'thank you', it has been a pleasure working for 2 great organisations.
I now look forward to my new pastime of walking dogs, visiting new places and spending more time with family and friends!
