Appreciating the service of Kay Salter

I don’t quite know how this has happened but today I celebrate working for Midland Bank and HSBC for 40 years. It only seems a few years ago that I started my induction course at Norton Street Branch in Liverpool to the following week knocking on the huge wooden door of Eastgate Street Chester. Bizarrely Chester is my business address again after working at many Cheshire and Merseyside Branches and sadly most are no longer open.



I am privileged to have met and made life long friends along the way. Although, I have had a few challenges along the way, it’s mostly been rewarding. Here’s to a few glasses of gin tonight.
