Appreciating the service of Barry Lloyd

48 years ago tomorrow I started at the Training Branch in Holborn, Bucklesbury House, and had a career lasting 18 years [16 of them very enjoyable if you take out Hammersmith and New Bond Street].

The real highlights were Pall Mall and Kensington Area Office.

Joined the Pru, bought a three year old Porsche with my redundancy cheque and increased my salary by 50%.

Nice to have retained a connection though with some lovely friends from those days.
