I started officially 25 jan 1985 at Leeds city branch.

I did work experience from school the July before at Rothwell branch in Leeds. Stayed over the summer holidays and got accepted on to the YTS programme in September on £25 a week, until offered the full time role in January.

Worked at Headingly, Morley, mkt street Bradford before helping set up the call centre in Leeds with my first managerial appointment.

Then moved to Sheffield as a project manager, a short spell in IT and now based in Leeds as a digital market activation manager for Global digital projects.

I remember when I first started, talking to staff who had been there 10 years and thinking how could they work that long for the same company.

I am now 35 years in and still enjoying it.
