R.I.P HSBC Reigate - 1923 to 8th August 2023. I wonder if the staff knew it was the branch's centenary this year. An advert was placed in The Surrey Mirror by the London Joint City and Midland Bank announcing that a branch would be opening at 18 High Street Reigate, under manager James H Black. I remember in the 1970s the then manager Ken Ward showing me one of the very early ledgers.
