50 years ago today I started work at Middlesbrough branch and, apart from a year in South Africa, a spell at Winning Team and two maternity leaves spent most of my working life around the Middlesbrough area. I’ve been retired for 12 years and never been so busy with the pleasurable “job” of looking after grandchildren amongst other things.
