KINDLY SHARED BY LEE RIGBY ON 12 FEBRUARY 2024 Heard very sad news today for those from the Fylde coast. Alec Nottingham who worked at St. Annes On Sea branch through the 80s and 90s sadly passed away. Will always be remembered for his warmth and humour towards everyone. Such a great bloke. I’ll never forget when the branch was being renovated me and Alec stayed behind late every night for several weeks tidying all the mess then went for a pint of Guinness on the way home and put the world to rights. Really sad I didn’t find out until today as I would have loved to go and pay my respects. Wonderful man. RIP Alec. - NEWSLETTER 59
