It is with huge sadness that I share this message from Mike Issitt’s wife Carolyn.

I first worked with Mike Issitt 30 years ago and he became a great friend. He battled cancer with such bravery and maintained his positivity to the end. He was a true gentleman and an inspiration and will leave a huge hole in the lives of the people who knew him.

My thoughts are with his wife Carolyn and their children Steph, Amy and George 😢

Hello All.

This is Carolyn Mike’s wife.

On 19th August 2024 my beautiful Michael left this world. He tried so hard to stay but in the end he needed to be at peace.

Cancer is a cruel disease that tries to take everything from you but it could never take Mike’s goodness of heart and indomitable spirit. In the most difficult of situations Mike remained relentlessly kind and caring of everyone around him.

My heart is broken, my best friend and the best part of my life has gone where I cannot follow. I miss him so much already.

I just want to thank you all for the kind messages of love and support we will let everyone know when and where we will celebrate his life here when it is organised.
