Walking into Southampton town centre for me inevitably means passing the Nelson Gate complex.
Look at what our old staff canteen in Frobisher House has become! It's about six years since we were moved to Whiteley from Southampton with a staff of about 300 I think.
When I first moved to Southampton as part of PFS from Redcliff Quay in Bristol we had somewhere around 1500 staff in Southampton. Nelson Gate, Norwich House is still empty six years on. Cumberland Place (Trust Tax & Probates I think, cobweb corner as it was referred to) and Ocean Village (Private Clients) all gone now.
Ah well!
