I have been going through some old photos and came across these taken in May 1979.

I was on a course in Liverpool, probably the advanced cashiers course as it was my third year in the Bank.

The Midland training centre was on the second highest floor of the John Moore building.

I remember the tremendous view from the room, looking over the Mersey.

I have also included a photo of the Liver building and of the ultra modern Dale Street branch.
