When the Prince of Wales visited Southsea.


Back in the mid 70's when I worked at Albert Road Southsea, Mr Lane (the Manager) emptied the post one morning and found that someone had posted this postcard in our letter box.


It shows the Midland bank as it was in the 1930's and Prince Edward, later Edward VIII, drove through the town on his way somewhere, probably to join a ship or the Royal Yacht.
