Doug Holt R.I.P - February 2022

It is with sadness that I have to announce the death of Doug Holt.

He worked in Rochdale, Oldham and King Street, Manchester branches among others and was a former Editor of the Horizons magazine.

I will post details of the funeral arrangements when I have them.

This is extremely sad news.

One of the greatest joys of my social media activities over the last 6 years is that it’s provided me a platform to meet and get to know so many lovely people.

Anne and I both really enjoyed Doug’s company and wish we had known him longer.

He worked hard for Horizons and was much appreciated by so many friends and colleagues.

My deepest condolences to Doug’s family and friends.
