First day of my retirement day after 39 years full time !

Had a fantastic and memorable send off on Friday from all my lovely , generous and thoughtful friends in Old Swan and will miss working with you all !

Started work in 1979 at 62 Castle St in Liverpool and worked at Plessey , English Electric, Garston , Mersey Rd , Aigburth, Bootle and Old Swan. Coming in straight from school at 16 I've enjoyed making all the special friendships with everyone I've worked with over the years !

Thank you Midland / HSBC for my job for life , for all the wonderful people I've met and will continue to see and for also meeting my fantastic husband when he got transferred to Aigburth branch.

I have a lot to be thankful for !
